TESA: A phase II trial of tesamorelin for cognition in aging persons with HIV.
This is a phase II, randomized, controlled multisite clinical trial, led by Drs. Ron Ellis and Michael Dube, investigating the effect of immediate versus deferred tesamorelin, a growth hormone releasing hormone analogue, on HIV-associated cognitive impairment via reduction of abdominal obesity, inflammation, and immune activation.
